Sandra Woodin

Sandra Woodin holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration/Accounting and an Associates degree in Avionics. She has been a member of the United States Air Force since 1987. She lives in Holden, MA with her husband, Paul and three children, Grant, Gavin and Lara.Sandra’s oldest son, Grant was diagnosed in 2013 at the age of 15 with ulcerative colitis. After a year of treatment and a couple of hospital stays, they found their way to the support group created by Lisa and her daughter Randi. In her own words “The support group gave my son a group of young people whocould understand what he was going through. It also provided me with support as a caregiver. I don’t think we would have made this far in our journey had we not had the support of this group.”Supporting others families going through the difficulties following an IBD diagnosis is why Sandra continues to be a part of the IBD Connect mission. Sandra has been a board member since 2023.
