Jaimee Doucette joins the board as the oldest daughter of IBD Connect, Inc. founder, Lisa Fournier. She has a background embedded in STEM and education: a Bachelor's in Mathematics, Master's in Cell Biology, 7 years experience at a charter high school in Brooklyn, NY, followed by her most recent move to an EdTech company. She is incredibly passionate about learning, and is always striving to learn and know more from everyone around her. Jaimee calls New York City home, and it was here that she was diagnosed with Crohn's Disease in 2018. Her family is no stranger to the illness, as her younger sister was diagnosed at age 4. Together, Jaimee, her sister Randi, and their mother Lisa hope to support and empower families going through the same struggle. While there is currently no cure for the girls, bringing awareness and raising money for research will only make moves in the right direction. If there is anything they have learned over the years, it is the power of community, which is overall goal of IBD Connect, Inc.
