Lisa Fournier holds a Bachelor’s degree in Office Administration/Accounting and presently works as an Accountant at Fire Inspectional Services, Inc. She claims Uxbridge, MA as her home with her husband Clay, where they raised their 4 children. Besides spending time with her children and grandchildren, Lisa loves her time with her dogs, crafting, and finding new restaurants with friends. She is so grateful to God for gifting her a servant's heart that she may help others. Lisa’s youngest daughter Randi was diagnosed with Crohn’s Disease in 2002, when she was just 4 years old. Her daughter Jaimee was also diagnosed with Crohn’s Disease as well in 2018. As it has always been Lisa’s dream of launching a non-profit that would serve the IBD community, the second family diagnosis was the motivation that was needed to get started. IBD Connect was formed to provide the resources to bring support groups and resources into all areas of the country as well as to provide services that were lacking for families. While Lisa does not hold medical expertise in Inflammatory Bowel Disease, she does bring with her the knowledge of being a parent to children with IBD and the compassion and empathy to help those living with it as well. |
Tricia Bowen joins us with an Education background, holding a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education and Professional Writing as well as a Master’s Degree in Special Education. She has been teaching for over 20 years and her passion lies in the hearts of children, believing that every child should get what they need to be successful. Tricia claims Leicester as her home with her husband John and daughters MacKenzie and Kaylynn. MacKenzie was diagnosed with Crohn’s Disease in 2018 at the age of 11. Not knowing anything about the illness they were facing, she joined the local Support Group and has been an integral part of the group and the company since. In her own words, “My family and I would not be where we are today without the friends that have become family! I am here to serve each and every one of you so please reach out!” She truly lives the mission of IBD Connect and joined the Board of Directors in 2020. We look forward to her enthusiasm and willingness to serve the IBD community. |
Elaina Repucci comes to us with over 10 years of experience as a fashion designer after graduating with a bachelor’s degree from Framingham State University. As a volunteer she founded the Make A Blast Against Brain Cancer Comedy Show to benefit children with brain cancer at the Floating Hospital for Children at Tufts Medical Center. She then went on to pursue non-profit work full time, spending over 3 years as the Director of Special Events and Fundraising at the New England Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation. She launched her own company in 2019 and is now full time running Simple Sips Fresh Cocktail Mix. It was during her time with the Foundation that she learned so much about the challenges of living with Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis. Fundraising is her passion and she hopes to strategically drive funds to provide much needed support services to the 1% of Americans suffering from these diseases, many doing so in silence. |

Dr Jay Fong has been a Pediatric Gastroenterologist practicing in Worcester county for 15 years. He welcomes the opportunity to do more for the IBD community that goes beyond what Medical treatment can traditionally accomplish. He has found the Community and family-centered approach of IBD Connect to be an avenue towards enhancing the ability for families to not only learn to live with a Chronic disease, but to adapt, thrive and in turn support others facing a new diagnosis. Jay spends his spare time with his wife Cindy, sons Christian and Gabriel in their hometown of Grafton, MA. He enjoys yearly visits to his 2nd home being the Country up North, sampling craft beers, roasting coffee beans, and driving his boys to many activities. |
Jaimee Doucette joins the board as the oldest daughter of IBD Connect, Inc. founder, Lisa Fournier. She has a background embedded in STEM and education: a Bachelor's in Mathematics, Master's in Cell Biology, 7 years experience at a charter high school in Brooklyn, NY, followed by her most recent move to an EdTech company. She is incredibly passionate about learning, and is always striving to learn and know more from everyone around her. Jaimee calls New York City home, and it was here that she was diagnosed with Crohn's Disease in 2018. Her family is no stranger to the illness, as her younger sister was diagnosed at age 4. Together, Jaimee, her sister Randi, and their mother Lisa hope to support and empower families going through the same struggle. While there is currently no cure for the girls, bringing awareness and raising money for research will only make moves in the right direction. If there is anything they have learned over the years, it is the power of community, which is overall goal of IBD Connect, Inc. |
Carson Domey, 19, was diagnosed with a lifelong illness at age 8 with no cure but has chosen to embrace the challenges of his disease, manage it, and use his experience to help others. He chose never to allow Crohn’s to define him; instead, he continuously chooses to define it. In the past eight years, Carson has raised over a million dollars by sharing his story to help find cures, improve treatment, and enhance the lives of patients.
Carson is also a mental health and telemedicine advocate. Growing up, his advocacy at the Massachusetts State House began at the age of 11-years-old while seeking to expand access to telehealth services in Massachusetts. Following the loss of a friend to suicide in 2018, he began advocating for a more just mental health system and greater widespread education about mental health. Carson is working with legislators to pass bills to expand mental health education and resources within the state’s school systems. Carson is currently a sophomore at the University of Texas at Austin, studying Economics and Government. In his free time, he enjoys flying, spending time with family, and rooting for the Texas Longhorns. |
