504 ADVOCATE (IN TRAINING)
Kristin joins IBD Connect’s mission to support pediatric patients by providing 504 Plan Advocacy services. She has completed Seat 1 of the COPAA training (Council for Parent Attorney and Advocates) and will begin Seat 2 in the fall of 2022. She presently holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Education and as a former educator, she looks forward to assisting families with IBD as they navigate through the process of obtaining accommodations to ensure academic success.
Kristin resides in Uxbridge, MA with her husband Mark and daughters Allyson and Julia. Her interest in supporting Crohn’s & Colitis families was triggered by witnessing the needs of a family friend whose child struggled with Crohn’s Disease. We are proud to have her join the IBD Connect family.
